This harness is made well with quality matetials! Koda and I love the double latch on the back of the harness. Today’s the first day with it on in our pond. Koda goes swimming 3 or 4 times a day so we will see how well it holds up but so far so good. Only thing I would suggest is I love prefer the harness straps be wider for a big dog. Even with his prong type training collar on he can be a handful to walk!

My old boy loves it!! He swims in any water he can and if it’s not deep enough to swim, you can guarantee he’ll at least lie down in it. This harness is perfect as all u have to do us wipe it clean after our walks. Best thing about it is it doesn’t smell after getting wet like most harnesses.

Bought two of these for my pups and really like the way it's not bulky so they don't get hot, yet it holds up well for the younger pup who is always pulling on the leash. I like that I'm not pulling on his neck all the time when his leash is attached to his collar. Much safer for him.

We've gone through so many badly fitted harnesses I was close on giving up. Our dog was able to get out of every one till we found this one! Well fitted. Unlike other harnesses it fits a good few inches away from the shoulder/ armpits giving the dog perfect range of motion. Sure it's a little pricy. But safety first. Comfort, dog's happiness, peace of mind.....priceless!

My doggo was wearing a thin ribbon harness. The plastic clasp broke after a short period so wanted something better made but not super heavy. Ran across the harness and decided to give it a try. As all harnesses fit different I did measure her to ensure it would fit. You really can’t go by just weight. I was glad I did measure as I would have gotten her the wrong size!
This harness is well made and just the right weight for her. For me I bought the matching leash! I will buy from this company again. This is a quality product to keep my wild thing with me!

I got the medium size for our 25 lbs Australian Labradoodle. It fits perfectly. It's a step in harness with only one clip closure (on top) - super easy (if you have a dog that can stand still). We have been using this for about 2 weeks and absolutely love it. It seems to be of great quality (especially considering the price). Our dog loves it and the harness does seem to help with pulling. What I love about this harness too is that her long hair doesn't get tangled in it like with a lot of other harnesses (I've had to cut her out of some!!).

I bought this in September and so far we are happy with it! I bought it for my 1-year-old pup. It fits her comfortably and has held up despite her pulling. It will definitely fit my 75 lb older pit so I plan on buying another of these since his old harness is showing wear. I've had to tug my dogs away from things, but neither of my dogs have charged at anything so not sure how strong this would be in that instance but for the price it's worth the try! I'm really happy with it so far.

Easier to walk the doggo! Place lease connect to the middle so as I walk arms get needed exercise too! There’s a hand grab in case you need to restrain. Not good if doggo walks you.. thinking you’d hold on to lease, defeating purpose.

Wow! I bought this thinking that it would be a cheapy and we could upgrade once he gets bigger. This is tough! He looks like he’s easy to jump out of an airplane. Love the brightness of the color and the weight / durability. It’s very minimal, some features I like on other harnesses are a front clip and a seat belt loop, but this gets the job. A little tough to get in on a jumpy pup since it’s a step in.

We purchased a Large for our 6 month old Doberman pup. The quality of stitching and webbing is very good for the price. The harness is currently adjusted to the smaller size where his neck/chest measured 23 inches. This will give him plenty of room to grow. We had another cheaper made harness (not cheaper cost) brand for full grown female Doberman It constantly slipped making it too large. I was impressed enough with this brand to order a second for our full grown Doby. She measured 31 inches and we bought a large also. It fits nicely with still a little room for expansion.

So I researched for "easy on" dog harness. Your item was intriguing for what I was looking for,ease,comfort,&back pull-not a neck pull. So I measured and followed the chart, my dogs chest measured 17in so I was almost in between sizes but I followed the chart, and it was very accurate for me actually. The first day I thought it was a little snug, but after a little trim around my dog's collar and neck area then it fit just fine, he's very fluffy :-) This harness is very comfortable for my dog, I love that it is so easy to put on- I know which end goes where-I love the step in easiness. And it was important that the harness leash is on the back side of the dog not on the underside of the neck. This was a great investment! I love it ,the colors great, the size is great, the price was right, I'm very pleased!

We have a 40lb mix puppy and the large adjusted to fit him well. He pulled to the point of wheezing with a normal collar. He’s still learning not to pull, however, his pulling subsides once this is on. Plus we feel we have more control of correcting the pulling with this vs a collar. He did chew some spots on it but that was our own fault for not catching that. Overall this was a great purchase! Will definitely purchase again if he does chew through it more haha hopefully not.

I'm giving this harness 5 stars because the issue I had was sort of my fault. This harness is very sturdy and works fabulously for dogs who don't like to have things pulled over their heads. However, small dog owners beware! The sizing is very accurate - I had to take several inches off of it to fit my chihuahua because there's no XS. It's really too bad too; everything else about it is perfect!

I ordered this harness for my Boston Terrier puppy who was 9 lbs.at the time. I picked small because he was right at the minimum chest size when measured per the directions. It fits him fine and will for awhile as he is growing fast and should be about 20 lbs. as an adult. I know it depends on the breed/dog, but the harness works great in training him to walk on leash.

i like the design of this. the other harness we have has two snaps and have to adjust around neck then around chest. this one fits a lot better and fits more secure. easier to put on and take off, just put one leg in at a time and done. doesn’t seem to bother her. love the color too.

Exactly what I was looking for my growing pup, it fits perfectly since its adjustable and once she slowly grows out of this small I purchase I will definitely come back for a bigger permanent size for her. Material is sturdy, doesnt look the price at all which is a win in a customer's buy! I just ordered an orange one for my ShihTzu as his permanent harness since the black one I had seems cheaper than this material and keeps loosening after each use.

Advice for dog owners:
We got this bc we did not want to hurt our puppy on walks and it works fine for car rides too.. it if this is your first dog, a harness actually makes it harder to teach a puppy how to do leashed walks. We learned this during our training session for our German sheper and husky mix - eventually, these harnesses will be awesome for runs and hikes, but have little use during leash training and puppy hood. For leash training get a slip lead leash.

My Pomapoo has a heart condition that causes him to choke. Vet said toss the collar and get a harness. I've tried several and it was too confusing and difficult to get on or figure them out. I guess I got lucky with this. He's 11 lbs and it slipped right on. No adjustments needed. I never bothered measuring his chest so I can't answer questions about that. But I love this. I wanted something light and comfortable. He's not a chewer or puller so that's not a problem. It doesn't seem to bother him at all. I hope I'm right because I leave it on. It's perfect for my "baby" and I'm very happy!

This was very easy to adjust and put on my dog who can be a handful. I felt very in control of his movement when he had this on. My dog happened to chew through it in about a 10 minute car ride. I didn't notice any damage to it before that. So i don't know if i'd recommend it you have a chewer. I would have gotten this again but i wanted to go with a different harness that had a front lead as this harness does not.

I ordered a L for my 2 year old husky. It's big on her and moves to the side while walking her. My husky is roughly 45 pounds and the size of a pointer or settler. The harness is good quality, adjustable and seems to fit my baby comfy (even tho a size too large) and she's not pulling as much. She's a real puller and lunges at things, like squirrels. I'm sending back due to size and buying a Med. It's worth every penny because she's comfy and I'm not being pulled.

First of all, this was exactly the type of harness I was looking for! I really like the style, the ease to put them on, and the clasp centered right between the shoulder blades. I bought two harnesses: a small for my 16 lb shih tzu and a medium for my 24 lb shihpoo. They fit perfectly! The material is so strong and durable; I can tell they're going to last a long time and it makes walking so much more enjoyable! You can't beat the price either. These could easily sell for $30+/each in retail stores and I only paid $9.99/each. Pupteck is seriously my new favorite dog brand! The quality of their products for the price is unbeatable! So worth it!!!

Love this harness! This walk in was suggested to me by our dog trainer. Not only is it affordable, but durable and adjustable. It was a little loose for my 4 month old Husky as a size Large, but now fits her perfect with room to grow 2 weeks later.

Wow. A lot of reviewers complained that this harness was flimsy or that their dog chewed through it. We found it to be very sturdy, and the adjustable twin leash rings allowed us to fit it to our 8-pound Shih Tzu just right (the two-ring hook-up takes the strain off of the plastic buckle). We have several of the more expensive harnesses, but they all cramp our dog at the neck when she tries to put her head down. I don't see why others don't like this harness.

No more trying to pull it over his head like his old harness.. which is so helpful since he can be excitable when he sees his leash come out. And just one click and it comes off. my little guy is a danish pointer/dachshund mix who likes to pull! he had a collar before and it would always choke him but this one is much more comfortable for him and it doesn't pull. he's about 19 pounds and 21 inches around the chest and the medium fit perfectly with plenty of room to tighten and loosen :)

This is a very robust harness, is very well made and it is SO easy to put on. No more wrestling with the dogs! Amazing price too. It turned out that the least expensive harness was the best fit for my dogs, which is awesome.

This harness is easily adjustable and it looks great. This was our harness that stayed at the vacation house. So it was only used on vacations. Starting two weeks ago it became her primary harness. It gets used every day now, is very sturdy and looks great. We don't have a big strong dog (only 10 lbs) so I can't testify for a big dog that requires a really strong harness. This harness is well made and with good material. I believe a large one would be the same. I would buy this again and recommend it.

I don’t know about the reflective nature of this harness. If it is supposed to be mine is defective. Anyways this product does it’s job perfectly. I have a German Shepherd who loves to go one walks. It has allowed her to easily be trained not to pull on the leash. Plus I don’t have to worry about her pulling and breaking her collar, which didn’t happen when she was just a pup.
It gives me good control of her if I need to have it in a moments notice.

My dog is always in-between medium and large sizes. I have to buy a medium and large simultaneously to fit my uncooperative dog at home, this large fits better so I will return the medium that doesn't fit. This fits snug and has metal rings unlike a lot of harnesses on the market with plastic and aluminum leash clips which always sketchy me out since harnesses are for dogs that pull. Great buy

This harness is highly adjustable and works great on my sometimes stubborn puppy. I first bought a non-adjustable harness that he outgrew in less than a week, then bought a different harness that is adjustable but won’t fit him for a while. Next I bought this one and it is “just right”. . It is adjusted to be as small as possible to it will last him a while also. The nylon looks to be strong and of good quality. The little dog paw tag that it comes with is darling.

Love this harness, best one I’ve had for my dog so far. We started with a Kong harness, and to my surprise, that lasted for less than a year. Then we got a Target harness, and I didn’t expect that to last very long, and sure enough, it was torn to shreds while my dogs wrestled. But this harness is so sleek, easy to use (confusing at first just like most harnesses, but easy once you get your mind around it), durable stitching, and I love the colors it comes in. All for a great price too, I might just get more for styling purposes.

Great harness! We bought it for a french bulldog puppy. When we ordered it, she was 15 pounds, and measured around the chest the exact smallest size dimensions of the medium. It was slightly too big for her for about two weeks (she could get out of it if she tried really hard) but she's grown so fast it fits perfectly now and we've even let it out a bit. She's now about 19 pounds. She's a surprisingly strong dog for her size, and this harness is super sturdy, and much easier to put on than the over-the-head vest harness we had her in before.

PUPdate 10/03/30: Still using this for my pup. The wear and tear is non-existent and I put it on and take it off of her daily, sometimes multiple times/day. Holding up fantastically well. She's run through sprinklers, been to the dog park and gone on runs in it with no issues. Money well spent. And I still love the purple.
I LOVE the purple. People constantly mistake my 35 pound, 3 year old GSD mix for being a boy, so this helps.

All the others I sent back,My little “Morkie” is real small around the chest. so the others that I have gotten were too big or too small this one seems to fit him perfectly, and I don’t think he can slide it off his head.
I’ve also noticed that he’s not fidgety or acting uncomfortable with it on…. he’s had it on 36 hours and hasn’t tried to fool with it at all. I really like how it fits him and I like where the strap is on his neck, it’s much lower than his Throat and he’s easier to manage with it.!!!

I have always liked a harness for walking a big chested dog - I have Boxers. Currently we are blessed with litter mates 5 months old. These are the most comfortable harnesses I have ever purchased for the dog. No need to remove the collar and ID tags like with some harnesses. HOWEVER...…. the description clearly states "walk in harness" . That was a new style for me. Herding two 5 month old Boxer dogs into walk in harnesses has been challenging. You must hold up the side when you get the first leg in, while getting the second leg in. Luckily Boxers love to use their paw and have figured this out after about 2 weeks of consistent training. If the consumer has any mobility issues, or difficulty using both hands at the same time while bending at the waist, it might be challenging.
Now that we have figured them out, and have trained ourselves and the puppies, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HARNESS

LOVE this harness! It is a perfect fit for my odd little dog. So we rescued this nearly 11 year old senior pup and he came with what looked like a good harness. That was until I took him for a walk and realized it was way too big for this mixed breed dog. I immediately turned to Amazon and started to search for a harness. I've purchase a couple of harnesses from Amazon over the years from other suppliers. But because this is our first small dog I knew we needed a different harness. When I found this one, looking over the pictures and checking the size guide I knew it was the one. And I was right the size chart is right on target. This harness fits my little guy perfectly. It is adjustable in the right places going the right direction for his odd shape. Of course I measured the dog first, as my experience from putting harnesses on dogs from years of dog sitting and recently fostering every breed and a few mixed breeds has taught me to always MEASURE the dog first!!!! This can not be stressed enough the only way to get a proper fit. is to measure the dog and order accordingly.

This product arrived on time and packaging was very good. It is made very well from what I can see. I've only had it a short time so I can't comment on durability. I switched my order from a medium to small after reading the reviews. When I first opened the package I thought I'd made a mistake but it is true that once I opened it there was plenty of room for her - fits perfectly. The issue was the narrowness of the straps, but that is my fault because I should have paid more attention to the specific dimensions rather than just the overall size. I've only used it a couple of times but it fits her well - not sure if it will help with the pulling yet but if I see a significant change I'll be sure to update this review. I am happy to recommend the product.

I've got a large cat (just big, not fat) - think Maine Coon. This actually works for my cat! Most cat harnesses are too small. Other dog harnesses have a chest strap that is wider or over head that tend to rub against legs. So far, my cat can wear it and walk - although he is not happy with this new experience!

Each size adjusts to comfortably and securely fit a variety of dogs, so that also helps. First of all, we love this product and definitely recommend it to other buyers. We have a small 8.5 pound yorkie mixed breed and we were looking for a harness that would be able to wrap around some of his winter jackets/sweaters. He looks very comfortable with the harness on and it doesn’t seem to restrict any leg movement when he’s walking around. It was a great investment and highly recommended.

I recently purchased a blue harness for my 1-year-old Yorkie who's approximately 11lbs and I'm so happy with my purchase. I have been attaching a retractable leash to my dog's collar when we go out on walks at the park, but just recently as I tried to retrain my dog to hold him back from running towards people/dogs...He kept resisting and was somehow able to slip out of his dog collar in which he bolted out of my sight, but luckily a stranger got a hold of my dog and was able to return him to me. As you can already imagine, this event nearly gave me a heart attack as a dog parent. Ever since that day, I swore to myself that I will never walk my dog using his dog collar again. Therefore, I had initially considered opting for the medium size so that he could possibly grow into it, but I'm glad I got a small because it fits him perfectly. There's even enough wiggle room that will enable me to make loosen it up in the future if my dog ever gains weight.

I was very acetic being that I own a pit. The harnes is well built with durable material and double stitching. I love that there is a security metal hook to secure the leash to other than just a plastic enclosure to secure the dog in the harness. No more tugging and walking her now is a breeze.

I got a new dog recently and I have always hated attaching leashes to collars, especially when dogs pull. Of course this new dog loves pulling and I had to order a harness right away. On the other hand, I would like to add that the buckles are poorly polished. After one walk, the paint began to peel off from them. It would be better if the manufacture would make this hardware without any polishing and leave its natural metallic color.

I liked the harness, but the size did not perfectly fit. The part around the chest fits well because we can adjust it. But for the rest, there is a lot of space under the chest. That's why you need to take into account the distance between the front paws (the width of the chest). In general, this does not bother us, so we continue using the harness. My 12 week old Aussie/lab puppy fits on the smallest setting. He is about 18 pounds. Perfect and just what I needed. I didn’t want to spend lots of money cause I know he will eventually outgrow this one but I’m confident that this is sturdy enough to handle my guy! I like that the clip is two pieces of each end of the straps so that even if one hook fails, he won’t be able to run off.

This harness fits my six month old setter perfectly and it feels durable and well made.
Not a critique of the product itself, but of this general style of harness with the metal loops on the back...your dog will still be able to tug and pull all over the place. He or she just won't get choked out. I've found to avoid pulling altogether, the lead needs to attach to the front of the harness, and for that you'll need a different product than this one.

nice harness, works well for my 25 # mixed breed dog. Easy to get on him, and the size is ok, his neck and head are around the same diameter, but was able to shorten the chest strap enough to keep him in it. So far no slipping the harness, he has a history of doing that at times. Usually when somebody else is walking him. We have been using this for a few months and it still looks brand new. Nice quality and a great harness for a very reasonable price.

Ordered a large for my pitbull boxer mix. Thought I was going to need a medium since he isn’t very big, but the large fit great. Needed to be tightened but better than squeezing him. Came quick and seems really durable (he hasn’t chewed it off like the last one I had).

We have wanted to get our dog a harness for some time now. Just didn't get around to it. The step in design makes it very easy to put on her and the leash doesn't end up underneath her on a trail walk.

I have an Aussie- and they are a bit sensitive to some material due to longer coat- and she loved this! It’s very durable and fits correctly to tug on the breast bone area and it is a very durable material as well as waterproof!
