First, the reflection is really neat when the light hits it. In the dark, it almost looks like jewels. I like the safety factor there. As for sturdiness, they do the job as expected and I've had no issues. Buy with confidence - I bought three collars and two leads from these folks. My only ding was on durability as my puppy lab who plays with my older lab A LOT, has frayed the older labs a bit, but I think it's someone expected. It's more of a cotton versus stiff nylon - so...

I bought this because my dog was Scooby Doo for Halloween and i needed a cheap collar.... WOW i am a collar snob and would typically never have my dog on a 1 inch nylon collar but this is sturdy, the lock is nice since its a plastic snap buckle. I was shocked at how well built this collar was!

This collar is perfect. It is true to the photos and I wish I had gotten more than one! The reflect threads also work really well even in minimal light and I feel safe taking my puppy for late night bathroom walks with this collar. Overall this is a great collar and very sturdy.
Edit: We finally bought another one since my dog had outgrown her first. This one is just as great as the last!

The collar I purchased a while back was getting old and was slipping when I took my dog out for a walk. This collar is heavier and more durable. It looks great and is the perfect color. The ring to put the tags and leash on is very sturdy and does not look like it is going to break at any time. I love it and so does my dog. She has had no trouble with itching or anything after wearing the collar for a few weeks.

This is the best made collar I have ever purchased. It adjusts size and holds in place well with a stopper. Looks great on my dog. I purchased matching leash and am so happy I did, the handle is cushioned and little lower down has a hook to latch on waste bag holder. I prefer to tie bags on to leash instead and wrap the leash on my wrist well for added leash control of my 70lb dog.

Very pleased. Feels like good quality. Fit my ~13lb Jack Russell perfectly after adjustment. It looks just like the picture. While my dog was wandering the backyard, I could see his new collar reflecting nicely! He likes to go adventuring... has escaped from the yard :( So it is critical that he can be seen at night.

I bought this for my puppy as his first collar. As soon as he outgrew it, I purchased another one in a larger size. Being reflective is great because I can find him at night with a flashlight (he is brown and really blends into the trees and bushes) when the light hits the collar.

My Lacy is solid black, almost purple-looking. She has beady, dark brown eyes, so we can almost never see her once it gets dark.
I do not like the highlighter-colored collars, I do not take her hunting.

This reflects Very well, seems to be comfortable, and fashionable (I don't care about the fashion part, but it doesn't hurt).
I wish it would come in thicker sizes for my larger dog!

I bought the blue collar hoping the brightness of the color would help make the reflective strips more visible. WOW! Was I ever impressed. Just shining a flashlight on the dog makes his collar really stand out. I can easily imagine how it will stand out in the headlight beams of a car. Will definitely be buying a few more of these collars for when this one needs to be washed. If reflectivity is your priority, these collars are what you want,

Collar has a very durable feel and a vibrant color. This is the second one I have bought only because the first one fell victim to a skunk. No matter how many times I tried to wash it or how long I let it sit to air out couldn't get the scent out. No worries because this new one has a much more vibrant color to it. Went with the purple one. My Frenchton loves wearing it and doesn't irritate her neck area since she has very short hair. Also, it has a better fit that she doesn't slip out of as previous collars.

These reflective dog collars are a perfect value and better than ones twice the price at your typical corporate pet store (PetCo, PetSmart). We have used both the smaller size and the medium size for our growing black lab. The reflective detail makes us able to see our dark pup in the dark and can be helpful if he's ever loose at night as well.

I ordered the blue and purple for my two dogs. These are heavy duty without being heavy on the dog. They are reflective stitching, the colors are exactly as pictured, and they're easy to adjust. Would buy again, but think these will last forever!

I have English Bulldogs gs and have a hard time finding collars that are affordable for some due to their really big necks but this one goes to 23” and is almost perfect and he Only thing that would have made it More perfect would be that is wider but it fits his hygiene m and is a very neat collar and I’m very pleased with it

Had to order this collar because the original I bought was out grown in thirty minutes. Apparently puppies grow, who knew! Still slightly too large which is fine because he can wear it next week. I will continue to order these collars until the pup is ready for his Big Boy Fancy Collar when he’s full grown

This collar is adjustable and fits comfortably on my dog. It is just the right width and is adjustable and has a strong snap in. The purple color that i purchase has a reflective stiched strip all around it and when outside in the dark is reflective enough.

Our puppy is all grown up, and needed a new collar. Bought this in blue and it looks very nice on his beagle-ish coloring. Reflective stitching shows up very well in dusk to dawn conditions. Would buy again.

Our dogs are active and can be rough on collars. These are high quality, good material. They have lasted for months without issue. Wash nicely. The feature safety release latches, which we prefer. The reflective stitching was not as large as I would have liked, but even so, I would buy these again. Great value.

The reflective threads are great. Our puppy is black and would be difficult to find in the yard at night if not for the collar that reflects when shining a flashlight. We needed the smallest opening when the puppy was 8 weeks old and we’re adjusting the collar as she grows. It seems it will last quite some time.

I spent a lot of money for collars that did not work out. Our puppy had just grown out of her 1st collar and we needed a new one. I measured ,but a different brand collar had an over hang on the second hole of the buckle, so she kept trying to bite at it. It was 3 times the cost of this collar. The next one I tried was the same brand I’d been using but the next size. It slipped off her head and had a “choke” style overlap that made her tags hang awkwardly and she tried to get away from them. I was afraid she would get stuck trying to get her mouth over the collar. Getting frustrated I decided to try this one. It has an adjustable ability that fits beautifully and gives her room to grow, is nice looking, has reflective properties, and seems sturdy enough. Directions would be appreciated. All in all this is a nice overall colkar for our dog.

We love these collars! They're simple but seem really durable, thick and well made. I like the colors and sizing is good. Both my lab/pit mix and Aussie/lab mixes are 55lbs and wear the 14"-18".
I like the idea of reflective stitching but it doesn't reflect super far so I still can't see my dogs when they're in the back of the yard. That wasn't necessarily something I needed on them, though, so I still give them a 5 star review.

I love the colors! I purchased three different ones the pink, blue, and purple color! I would say they are true to size. My dogs have had them for a few months now the color is still there, a little faded but more faded in the pink one. (After multiple washes) They are very durable and have lasted longer than other collars we have had in the past! And the reflective is still there Which is also a plus!

I had to buy my dog a new collar because the clasp on his old one wasn't opening and closing properly anymore. I was worried it would come apart one day when he decided to tug on the leash. I got this collar. So far it's stayed put and I have no problems when I need to remove the collar and put it back on. The material is really sturdy and the loop to hook the leash is strong too. My dog is close to 50 lbs and likes to be stubborn and pull on the leash. He's not getting out of this one any time soon.
